I have noticed that guys who like to work out normally eat oatmeal for breakfast. Why is oatmeal a good healthy breakfast to eat for guys wanting to work out and get buff?

Ok, I'm in a hotel, and it needs to be on the go kind of stuff! Shoot!

A contradictory question, I know! I really want to stay on track with eating healthy, but I love fatty foods like onion rings, hamburgers, chips and have been craving something like this for a few days now. The thought of salad, rice, ect. are not going to satisfy this craving. Besides nuts (I hate them) is there anything "healthy" that I can substitute for fatty foods?
