When you exercise, you burn calories. If you burn more calories than you eat, you'll lose weight. The more you exercise, the more fat you will lose.
Exercising helps your heart pump better, and give you more energy. Start with stretches that warms up your muscles. Include other activities, such as running, walking, jogging or dancing. Also do activities that help makes you get more strength such as push ups, pull ups or lifting weights, of course that's optional. Then cool down with some simple stretching.
